Archery and thrown weapons are among the many activities available within the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). Thrown weapons include common weapons of the middle ages such as spears, knives, and axes. While most live weapons activies available in the SCA center around target competitions, combat archery is also practiced.
At this time, live weapons practices are held in Villa Rica, GA as a joint practice with our neighboring groups in Northwest Georgia (Shire of Owl’s Nest) and Atlanta (Barony of South Downs). This practice is located at a private location, but is open to newcomers.
